Benvenuti—your children will love learning with one of the best Italian educators!

Ciao! I’m Elisa, an early childhood educator from Italy with several years of experience supporting children’s learning and development. I have worked in early learning settings in both Italy and Australia, and for the past year I’ve been teaching in early learning centres in Darwin.
My background includes roles as an educator, teacher assistant, and summer camp coordinator, alongside years of volunteering in after-school programs and working closely with children and families. These experiences shaped my educational approach, which is centred on creating a warm, engaging, and supportive learning environment where children feel confident to explore and express themselves.
I am passionate about lifelong learning and continuing my professional growth here in Australia. Through Parliamo Italiano, I love sharing my Italian language and culture, and supporting children and families to maintain their cultural identity, language, and traditions—both in the classroom and within the wider community.
Parliamo Italiano is always happy to welcome passionate volunteers who share a love for the Italian language and culture.
If you are a retired educator, a mamma or nonna with an Italian background, or simply someone who enjoys working with children, we would love to hear from you.
Volunteers play an important role in supporting lessons, sharing cultural knowledge, and helping create a friendly, encouraging space for our young learners.
No formal teaching commitment is required—just enthusiasm, reliability, and a love for Italian language and culture.
